SAE Standard

SAE standards are developed by SAE International (Society of Automotive Engineers) and serve industries such as aerospace, automotive, and commercial vehicles. They are globally recognized engineering technical specifications. As one of the leading engineering standards organizations in the United States, SAE has published numerous standards related to dimensions, tolerances, materials, performance, and testing methods for fasteners. These standards have significant influence in the U.S. thread system (UNF, UNC) and high-performance aerospace fasteners. SAE standards are widely adopted in North American and international engineering manufacturing sectors.
