DIN 6799 E-type shaft retaining rings/circlips are small radial fixing elements for shafts. They offer strong torsion resistance and reliable axial positioning. Compared to ordinary C-type retaining rings, they provide superior impact resistance and holding force. They are suitable for precision mechanical assemblies with limited space, such as micro motors, instruments, and meters.
