DIN (German Institute for Standardization) standards apply to various components, including industrial fasteners such as metric DIN 125 flat washers. Although transitioning to ISO standards, DIN standards remain widely used in Germany, Europe, and globally. For components without ISO equivalents or those not requiring standardization, DIN standards continue to be adopted. The ISO equivalent standard for DIN 125 flat washers is ISO 7089; CSN 021702; PN 82006; UNI 6592.
