What are Concrete Screws?
Concrete screws, also called masonry screws, concrete self-cutting anchors or cement screws, are made of high-strength steel and are heat-treated to achieve extremely high hardness. Concrete screw threads are designed with alternating high and low threads. The tall, sharp threads cut the material, while the low, flat threads carry the chips out of the hole. When installing, use a hammer drill to pre-drill a pilot hole of a specific size (some types can be drilled directly into the brick without pre-drilling.), then use a torque wrench or impact driver to drive the screw in. They are suitable for securing objects to hard, brittle substrates (concrete, brick, hollow brick, and stone).
